How the job went

Every project, the same way — look, show, fix, prove.

01

The call

Three weeks after their kitchen remodel wrapped, the dust hadn’t stopped. Every flat surface needed wiping daily, and the smell of drywall hung in the air whenever the AC ran.

02

What the camera found

The returns had inhaled the renovation: fine white drywall dust coated the full length of the trunk line, mixed with 50 years of regular buildup the ducts had been carrying since 1968.

03

The work

Full-system Rotobrush cleaning — hard heads on the original metal runs, blower compartment opened and cleared, and a final vacuum pass at every register with the floors covered throughout.

04

The result

The daily dusting stopped within days. The owners keep the before photo on their phone — it’s their favorite party trick.

Rated 5 out of 5
We renovated the kitchen and the dust just never settled — turns out it was all sitting in the ducts. One visit and it was over. Wish we’d called them the week the contractors left.

Questions about this job

What homeowners ask when they see a project like this one — answered straight.

We just finished a remodel. How soon should the ducts be cleaned?

As soon as the contractors leave — renovation dust settles into the returns within days and recirculates for years. Cleaning right after the remodel stops it at the source.

Construction cleanup covers what you can see. The AC was running during the remodel, pulling fine drywall dust into the ductwork — no broom reaches that.

About the same as a standard deep clean — this ranch took 3 hours. The dust is fine and loose, but every line still gets the full brush-and-vacuum cycle.

Usually yes — the smell rides on the dust. Once the source is out of the lines, the air clears within days.

Older metal ducts actually clean beautifully — they’re sturdy and the buildup releases well. The camera check first tells us if any run needs attention beyond cleaning.
